    As part of the Central African Forest Research Network (R2FAC) and the Ecology and Social Sciences Research Project for the Sustainable Management of Central African Forest Ecosystems (RESSAC), a writing workshop was held from 31 October to 03 November 2023 in Brazzaville to enable 9 doctoral students and 7 post-doctoral students from Congo, Cameroon, Gabon, CAR and the DRC to acquire more skills in writing scientific articles.

    Gender discrimination and sexism at work: talking and acting through forum theatre

    How should we react when faced with "compliments" and recurrent remarks about women's clothing in meetings? What place and what consideration should be given to women and their words? And as a man, how should we position ourselves? CoTéAct and a group of researchers from CIRAD's Forests and Societies Research Unit (UR) have co-created this theatre-forum playlet to question gender inequalities and ordinary sexism within a team.

    Formation d’étudiants Congolais aux enjeux, à la collecte et l’analyse des données des filières bois-énergie d’Afrique Centrale

    Après avoir étudié la consommation en énergie domestique et l’organisation des filières bois-énergie des villes de Kinshasa, Lubumbashi, Goma et Bukavu, Emilien Dubiez et l’enseignant-chercheur Augustin Nge Okwe ont dispensé une formation portant sur « Enjeux, collecte et analyse des filières bois-énergie » au sein de l’Université de Kinshasa (UNIKIN) en partenariat avec l’Université Pédagogique Nationale (UPN) du 7 au 18 novembre 2022.
